Our ELO program is an unpaid internship for high school students to get experience working in a healthcare setting. As an intern, you can take part in a variety of department tasks, attend professional development workshops and explore advanced healthcare topics. Depending on your school’s requirements, ELO program participation may count towards school credit.
Summer healthcare exploration
If you’re looking to shadow a particular branch of our hospital system, our paid, 7-week rotational internship may be right for you. High school and college students are assigned a leadership mentor to collaborate on a project together that will be presented to our administration team on the last day of the program. We work to give you hands-on experience in a few different departments, as well as provide access to many knowledgeable medical professionals.

Students over 14 years old are eligible to volunteer at our hospital in a variety of roles. Depending on your skill set and passions, you can choose to volunteer directly with patients, or you can help our administrative team keep visitors informed.
