Our weight management program
Medical weight loss — sometimes called nonsurgical weight loss — is a structured and medically supervised program designed to help you lose weight.
What to expect from our medical weight loss program
Medical weight loss can work for you, as it has for many others. Our comprehensive program can be used as your primary weight loss option or as part of a surgical weight loss plan. Whatever path you take to achieve a healthier weight, lifestyle changes are essential to your long-term success. When you choose us as your weight loss partner, you gain a team of medical professionals and resources to help you.
Our comprehensive weight loss support services include:
- Initial evaluation — Our nurse practitioners will determine if you are medically cleared to participate in our program.
- Personalized plan — Once you are cleared for our program, we’ll work with you to develop a personalized weight loss plan.
- Physical activity — Exercise is essential for weight loss and ongoing weight management. Our program includes visits with physical therapists who can provide an exercise plan to help you reach your weight loss goals.
- Ongoing support — Our registered dietitians will provide ongoing nutritional support by developing a personalized nutrition plan for you.
Benefits of our medical weight loss program
Nonsurgical weight loss can significantly improve your health and well–being. We strive to offer you many programs with potential benefits, including:
- Better mental health — Struggling with weight can affect your mental health, leading to low self-esteem and depression. Losing weight can improve your confidence and self-image, leading to better mental health.
- Improved physical health — Losing weight can reduce your risk of developing chronic health conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.
- Increased energy — Carrying excess weight can make you feel sluggish and tired. Losing weight can improve your energy levels, making it easier to stay active throughout the day.
- Long-term weight loss — Establishing healthy habits leads to sustained weight loss and improved health.
If you are interested in our program, please ask your primary care provider to send us a referral. You will then meet with our nurse practitioner to determine if medical weight loss is right for you. To learn more, call (603) 334-2006.
