Comprehensive care for lung cancer
Our medical oncologists, thoracic surgical oncologists and pulmonologists work together to deliver a detailed treatment, recovery and follow-up plan that's catered to your specific needs.
Lung cancer screening
We can use multiple screening options to assess your risk for lung or thoracic cancer. As well as an initial consultation, you will undergo a low-dose computerized tomography (CT) scan and a follow-up appointment with one of our specialists.
You may be recommended for a screening if you:
- Are at risk of lung cancer
- Are between 55 and 75 years old
- Have a 30-pack year smoking history
- Have not had a CT scan in the past year
- Have not had pneumonia for the past 12 weeks
- Show symptoms of lung cancer
To schedule a lung cancer screening, please call (603) 433-5285.
Diagnosing lung cancer
An early lung cancer diagnosis is key to the best possible outcome. To detect and stage your condition, we use various imaging tests, including:
- 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan
- CT scan
- Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS)
- Esophageal ultrasound (EUS)
- Positron emission tomography (PET) scan
Treatment for lung cancer
We treat new and recurring lung, esophageal, pleural, mediastinal and chest wall tumors. To accomplish this, our specialists use interventional radiology techniques and infusion therapies, such as:
- Biotherapy
- Chemotherapy
- Minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery
- Photodynamic therapy (PDT)
- Radiation therapy
